The word "holistic" can get thrown around a lot with little or no explanation of what it truly means to be holistic. The concept of holiatry in medicine refers to caring for the entirety of a person, in all aspects of their lives, including physical, psychological, and social. I would also add spiritual to this list. For a human being to reach their optimal level of health there needs to be balance in these areas. I work with everyone who comes through my office to help achieve this homeostasis.
At your first appointment, a series of questions will be asked to get a detailed description of the overall health of your body. Most people are surprised at the depth needed to get the full picture. For this reason, first appointments require an extra half hour. Please arrive on time.
The most common questions I receive from people who wish to try acupuncture for the first time are answered here, but do not hesitate to bring further questions with you to your first appointment. It is not uncommon to be unfamiliar with the intricacies of acupuncture and its adjunctive treatments, and I want you to feel comfortable with all aspects of a holistic approach.
I split my time between my own practice in Maine
and an agency I love that works with the pediatric population in Massachusetts.

What is “Holistically Well Talks”?
Holistically Well Talks is a course designed for the average human who is trying to “be good” but might feel that dietary and lifestyle choices are, at times, completely daunting.
In our course, you will learn how to eat and live holistically and mindfully. You will learn how to take care of yourself naturally when you are sick, can’t sleep, have anxiety, feel pain, and more.
The course is divided into 12 modules that are created around the months of the year. As the weather and elements shift around us, it is important to keep our bodies aligned with this change in energy. Thus, we break down the reasoning behind our monthly tips—if you understand something, you are much more likely to follow-through.

Our first official module will be released on March 1st and you will have a 7-day window to purchase the entire course. After the 7 days, the material will no longer be available to you.
